Dimraeth roadmap

After the Early Access launch, Mudtek plans two race and class updates, then the Act II story update. None of them has a date: the official roadmap graphic shows Update I and the full release as TBA. The level cap of 25 is meant to rise with each new act.

Mudtek's development roadmap: six circles joined by a line, labelled Open Playtest, Demo Release, Steam Next Fest, Early Access, Update I and Full Release, the last two shown as question marks marked TBA.

Done: Steam Next FestThe demo, patched from player feedback during the festival.

TBA: Full ReleaseMarked TBA on the graphic.

In the post that announced the end of the demo, Mudtek promised this graphic for later: Further down the road and closer to release we’ll be giving out a roadmap that details the content rollout that you can expect as a player in EA. It arrived with the launch. The Early Access dates themselves, with local unlock times, are on the Dimraeth release date page.

What comes next, in order

The graphic stops at Update I. The pinned FAQ is more specific about the sequence:

Yes, but roughly it will feature the update schedule of 2 new race/class updates and then the Act II planned story update

Shindaru, developer. From the pinned Steam discussion: Early Access FAQ

  1. A race and class update

What it adds has not been named.

  2. A second race and class update

Also unnamed. The store’s eight races and six classes are the full-release goal.

  3. Act II

The next story act, after Act I’s three chapters. The level cap should rise with it.

Whether the graphic’s Update I is the first of those race and class updates is not stated. The races and classes you can play now, and the ones the store lists as planned, are on Dimraeth races and all Dimraeth archetypes.

The level cap moves with each act

the level cap is different now to max at level 25 which will be increased with each new act

Mudtek. From the Steam announcement: Trailer, EA Content Update, Localisation and much more!

So level 25 is the ceiling for Act I, not for the game. How levels, experience and attributes work in the current build is on Dimraeth leveling and respec.

What the full release is meant to add

That includes new biomes and zones beyond the current Earlwood and Wildwood regions, additional playable races and classes, an expanded late-game skill and equipment ceiling, more boss encounters, deeper crafting and building options, and a longer overall story arc.

Mudtek. From the Early Access notes on the Dimraeth Steam store page

Early Access now

What you get today

Three races, three classes, Act I, the starter region from the Lost Caverns to the Wildwood, and repeatable deeds for the endgame. The full list is on what is in Dimraeth Early Access.

Planned for 1.0

What the store describes

New zones beyond Earlwood and the Wildwood, more races and classes, a higher skill and gear ceiling, more bosses, deeper building and a longer story. The store gives no order or dates for these.

Mudtek also plans to raise the price as these arrive; see the Dimraeth price.
