Dimraeth endgame: deeds and tiers
After the Act I story, Dimraeth’s endgame is the Guild Hall’s repeatable content: deeds, including boss bounties and dungeons, that unlock harder tiers as you clear them and drop better loot the higher you go. Two achievements track it, for a tiered deed at tier 1 and at tier 3. More story waits for Act II, which Mudtek plans after two race and class updates.

What Mudtek says the endgame is
Three official descriptions, which agree:
“After finishing the end of the Act I story the guild-hall has repeatable dungeons and bosses with special loot drops.”
Mudtek. From the official Steam discussion: Early Access FAQ
“For the end game a repeatable deed system with progressive difficulties”
Mudtek. From the Steam announcement: Official EA Release, Feedback, and Thank You!
“The end game features a repeatable deeds system which has bosses you can fight again and dungeons you can redo at higher difficulty levels.”
Deeds, bounties and tiers
Short repeatable quests
A playtest announcement before Early Access called them “10+ Deeds (our short-form quests)”. You take them from the Guild Hall quest board. LightItUpDan uses them to farm XP and likes the scouting ones, which are mostly running between points.
Bosses you have beaten
A kind of deed, on the bounties tab of the same board. Each boss you beat in the story is added as one. The boss side is covered on Dimraeth bosses.
Tiers are what make them endgame. Revvy describes the ladder: once you complete a bounty, “the next level unlocks, and it’s like a tiered system, and as you get to higher tiers, you’ll start getting better loot”. Steam tracks the first and third rung:
- Cutting Teeth Complete a tiered deed at tier 172%
- Tier Pusher Push a Tiered Deed to Tier 3 and complete it0.2%
How to push a deed to tier 3
- Do the quest that introduces the board first
SwoleBenji’s warning for the Guild Hall board: “don’t accept any quests from this board yet because we we get a quest to use this board. And if you accept the quest first, it kind of bugs out a bit.”
- Clear a tiered deed at tier 1
That is Cutting Teeth. On Revvy’s account, completing one unlocks the next level.
- Clear each new top tier as it unlocks
In LightItUpDan’s words, “Each time you complete the bounty at the highest difficulty available, you can crank it up a notch”.
- Complete it at tier 3
Tier Pusher asks you to push a tiered deed to tier 3 and complete it. Mudtek has not said how many tiers there are above that.
World difficulty is not the same as a deed tier
Two separate difficulty settings exist, and only one of them is documented as paying better.
| World difficulty (e.g. Hard) | Deed and bounty tiers | |
|---|---|---|
| When you set it | When you create the world; a developer says it cannot be changed afterwards | Each time you clear the highest tier available |
| What it changes | Enemies hit harder, have more HP and attack faster (forum moderator) | Harder versions of the deed |
| Better rewards? | No loot or XP incentive, per the forum moderator; no developer has said otherwise | Better loot at higher tiers (Revvy, LightItUpDan, and the playtest announcement) |
“You cannot change a world difficulty after the fact, so somehow the game created a hard world. Maybe there is a bug we haven’t seen.”
“So hard difficulty just means the enemies hit harder, have higher HP, and attack faster. There is no loot or XP incentive for playing on Hard other than enjoying (?) the difficulty.”
Wizardmanguy, a forum moderator (not a developer). Posted in the Steam thread Steam discussion: Hard Mode
A developer has since agreed. When a player on Reddit summed Hard up as “it just harder mob”, DimraethDev replied:
“He is right this basically is the answer right now :D BUT we do want to try more things it’s just step by step.”
DimraethDev, a developer. On r/dimraeth thread: Hard mode
So is Hard worth it? For now, only for the challenge; the whole setting is on Dimraeth difficulty. If you play with friends, remember the choice is fixed per world; see Dimraeth co-op before you create one.
How long until you get there
The official FAQ puts the story at “about 12-15 hours of story content with end game repeatable content past that.” A forum moderator gives a longer range for the main quest, and adds that “there’s still content post Main-quest that you can do like deeds and bounties.” The estimates disagree; both, with player timings, are on what is in Dimraeth Early Access. You do not have to wait for the ending to start: LightItUpDan farms deeds for XP while they are still leveling.
Gear is the long chase
The loot the tiers pay out is equipment: sets, some of which only certain bosses drop, upgraded at the forge. Crafting your own gear is not how you get it yet. In a crafting blog before Early Access, Game Director Phillip wrote:
“Equipment crafting is not in the game yet, but it’s something we plan to add later. The intent is for equipment crafting to be an end-game activity for players who want to min-max and fine-tune their builds.”
Phillip, Game Director. From the pre-Early Access blog Steam announcement: Prepare, Restock, Push Further
Slots, sets and upgrades are on Dimraeth equipment.
After Act I
The level cap is 25 for Act I, and Mudtek says it goes up with each act; what that means for your character is on Dimraeth leveling. The order of the next updates, from the FAQ:
“Yes, but roughly it will feature the update schedule of 2 new race/class updates and then the Act II planned story update”
Mudtek. From the official Steam discussion: Early Access FAQ
Mudtek has not given dates for any of the three. The full plan is on the Dimraeth roadmap.
