Dimraeth price
Dimraeth costs $21.99 on Steam, and it opened with a limited launch discount to $19.79. Mudtek plans to raise the price step by step during Early Access, which makes the launch discount the lowest price the studio has described. There are no microtransactions, and prices outside the US follow Steam’s default regional conversion.

What you pay
The store labels the launch discount “INTRODUCTORY OFFER!” and shows an end to it, so the $19.79 figure is temporary. A developer gave both numbers on the forum before launch, together with the rule for other currencies:
“It will be 19.79 USD with the opening discount (21.99 standard) and then use default steam regional pricing.”
The price is planned to rise during Early Access
The store’s Early Access notes answer the question directly. The plan is a series of increases tied to content, not a single jump at the end:
“Yes, we plan to gradually raise the price as we add more content and polish during Early Access, with a higher price at full release.”
Mudtek. From the Early Access notes on the Dimraeth Steam store page
“Early Access supporters get the best deal and shape the game with us; the price reflects the growing scope as we go.”
Mudtek. From the Early Access notes on the Dimraeth Steam store page
No amounts or dates for those increases have been published. The content that is meant to justify them (two race and class updates, then Act II) is laid out on the Dimraeth roadmap, and what the current build already holds for the money is on what is in Dimraeth Early Access.
Deciding whether to buy now or wait
Lowest planned price
Mudtek’s stated plan is that the price rises with content, so the launch discount is the cheapest point the studio has described. You get three races, three classes and Act I now; the store still describes the eight-race goal.
More game per dollar later
The planned updates add races, classes and then story, so a later purchase starts with more in the box, at a higher base price. Reviews so far are summarised, with counts, on Dimraeth reviews.
If your PC is near the bottom of the store’s hardware list, check the Dimraeth system requirements first: a developer says the listed minimum graphics card may no longer be enough.
Microtransactions and paid DLC
“Will the game have any microtransactions? No.”
Shindaru, developer. From the pinned Steam discussion: Early Access FAQ
Paid DLC is a separate question, and no developer has answered it. When a player asked “will the upcoming race or classes locked behind paid dlc?”, the only reply came from Wizardmanguy, a forum moderator rather than a developer: “Not until after 1.0 launch!” That speaks only to the Early Access period, and it is not a studio statement.
Regional pricing
Using “default steam regional pricing” means Mudtek did not set its own price per country; Steam’s suggested conversion from the US price applies. The same forum thread shows the objection to that choice. One player, pointing to Polish prices, removed the game from their wishlist and explained:
“Relying on default steam's conversion is something that developers can modify at will.”
“I do not care how this game is priced, I can afford it. I decide not to because of the use of default regional pricing.”
Other replies in that thread called the US price generous. No developer answered the regional complaint there. If the price in your currency looks high, the Steam store page for your region is the only place that shows the real figure; the store also sells a bundle with IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator.
