Dimraeth loot: how players farm the gear set they want
Gear in Dimraeth drops with random rarity, and players say there is no shop or crafting route to one particular piece, so the set you want is a matter of farming the right place. The place several players and one creator name is the bounty board: rerun a boss bounty at deed level 3 for purple gear, and farm the packs on the way in rather than the boss. This page has that loop, where each set is said to drop, and the reasons the grind feels long.
The bounty loop, step by step
Revvy’s clip is the plainest walk-through of it, and the forum players below describe the same loop in their own words. It is one creator’s method and a set of player reports, not something Mudtek has published.

- Beat the Act 3 boss first
Revvy: “After you’ve defeated the act 3 boss, you can approach the bounty board and go over to the bounties tab.” Revvy describes the list as the mini-bosses that have a bounty, and says one you have not fought yet needs fighting in the world first. How the bounties and deeds fit together is on Dimraeth endgame and deeds, and the ten bosses behind them are on Dimraeth bosses.
- Pick the bounty for your set and take it to level 3
Each level has to be cleared before the next opens. Revvy: “level three is currently the cap or the hardest difficulty”. The screen shows the loot on offer, and higher levels show more of it and in better rarity. Revvy says “There’s no like percentages or any math behind it”, so the screen tells you more loot is coming, not how much.
- Teleport to the dungeon and clear the packs before the gate
For Gorehorn Revvy takes The Corrupted Beast Returns, and the packs are the wolves outside the Corrupted Thicket. Elite wolves are the ones to look for, and a level 3 bounty has more of them. Revvy names the reason: “the mobs that come in within that dungeon typically have some loot that everybody is going to want”.

- Leave the gate shut, kill the pack, teleport out, rest
This is the part that saves time. Revvy: “Once the gate has been opened, the mobs behind it will not respawn.” So do not open it. A player on the forum says the same about the goblins, “if you dont open the gate you can kill the monster and go back to the camp to respawn them infinitely”, and another repeats the bounty “Yes I’ve been repeating that same bounty but not re-setting fully and just resting to bring wolves back.” You never fight the boss and never wait out its timer.
- For Pyreweaver, run the Hoard King bounty and mind the switches
The Goblin Caves work a little differently. Take the Hoard King bounty at level 3, hit the switch that opens a path, then farm the side with the higher density of goblins. Revvy: “Never hit the switch on this side because that’s going to stop them from respawning”.

Revvy is clear about the limits: “this is not a guaranteed method”, only the fastest he has found. His wolf loop also has a side income; “these wolf fangs sell for five gold”, and a Reddit player says “I farm a lot of dryads and sell their mats they sell for 5g each”.
Where each set is said to drop
The Codex is the in-game list of sets. One player’s summary is “The codex lists equipment sets and what drops specific pieces”, with two catches another player points out: “if you havnt found lionspear, you cannot see it in codex.” and “just because it calls out a wolf, theres 5 variants, doesnt mean you know wich one it is.” The table is what players report for the sets they name; none of it is a drop rate.
| Set | Where it is said to drop | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Gorehorn | Wolves. Forum players name the Corrupted Treant deed at deed level 3, where “Fair amount of wolves and they actually drop blue and I think even purple gear at deed level 3.” Revvy runs the bounty called The Corrupted Beast Returns for it. | Forum player; Revvy's video |
| Pyreweaver | Goblins, run through the Hoard King bounty at level 3. One player says “there multiple type of goblin i think only 2 actually drop pyre”. | Forum player; Revvy's video |
| Lionspear | The Codex says the Wildwood Aetherfang Wolf, and a reply notes that wolf comes in five variants. One Reddit answer says “According to this website it only drops from the 3-tailed wolves”, citing a community database. | Reddit thread |
| Graveveil | A player who was near the end of the game reports “I was almost at the end of the game before I saw my first blue items for Graveveil and Gorehorn”. | Forum player |
| Convergence | Very common, on the players’ account: “The Convergence set is drastically more common than everything else in the game”. | Forum player |
| Thornborn and Forestlinked | Listed as the equipment sets on the bounty screen for Return to the Forest Throne, in the picture above. | In-game screen |
How many pieces a set has is still open for Gorehorn. A Reddit player writes “In the codex there only 5 pieces (6 if you equip 2 rings) but the crit multiplier come with a 7 piece set”, while the forum player who advises the treant deed says “They will also drop the later accessories so getting 7 isn’t impossible.” A Minotaur Brawler creator who is building around it talks about “a five-piece of that and a seven-piece of gorehorn”. Which sets suit which build is on Dimraeth builds, and what the set bonuses do is on Dimraeth equipment.
Why it takes so long, on the players’ account
A Gorehorn player counts the rolls: “That’s 3 RNG checks and 4 if you’re looking for the Deadly affix like I am.” Another calls the loop “Gorehorn grind is painful even knowing the perfect purple drop spot.”
The forum’s most detailed complaint: “Any enemy that can drop specific gear also has a chance to drop a random piece from any other set of gear”. That is why the same player’s wolves keep giving Convergence.
One Reddit player’s reset trick in the treant deed is to “kill the enemies till you meet the regular treant enemy and die to it”, which brings the wolves back. One forum player hopes the devs add “some form of pitty system”. The one developer line on where gear is meant to come from is quoted on Dimraeth equipment.
Farming with a friend
A forum moderator says the personal loot toggle controls which drops each player sees, and two player reports dispute how well it works. Chests in a shared world have a separate setting. Both are on Dimraeth co-op, and Mudtek’s newest hotfix list has a chest line, on Dimraeth patch notes. Pieces you find are worth keeping for your other characters, and the way to hand them across is in the section on sharing gear between your own characters on the same co-op page.
