Dimraeth platforms
Dimraeth is a Windows PC game on Steam, and it also plays on the Steam Deck. Asked about Switch 2, a developer said the team wants it but consoles do not take Early Access games, so it would wait for the full release. PS5, Xbox, Mac and Linux have not been mentioned.

The board
| Question | Status | What Mudtek said |
|---|---|---|
| PC (Steam) | In Early Access | Windows on Steam is the only release. It is playable now in Early Access.“Dimraeth is fully playable today as a co-op action RPG.”Dimraeth Steam store page |
| Steam Deck | Works, not rated | Mudtek says it plays on the Deck. Valve has not given it a Deck rating yet.“Yes you can play on the Steamdeck, PC with controller or Handheld PCs.”Steam discussion: Early Access FAQ |
| Switch 2 | After full release | Wanted, and the Deck work was done with it in mind, but a developer says consoles have to wait for the full release.“the consoles don't do early access releases and so we'll have to wait until full release.”Steam discussion: any chance we get a switch release? |
| PS5 | Nothing said | Not named by Mudtek. The only console answer is about Switch 2, and it says consoles do not take Early Access games. |
| Xbox | Nothing said | Not named by Mudtek. The only console answer is about Switch 2, and it says consoles do not take Early Access games. |
| Mac and Linux | Nothing said | The store lists Windows only, and no developer reply about Mac or Linux appears in the Early Access forum threads. |
PC on Steam
Dimraeth is sold on Steam, and Mudtek has not announced another store. Its system requirements name Windows 10 for the minimum and Windows 10 or 11 for the recommended spec, and nothing else. A developer has since said the minimum graphics card listed there is below what the current build needs; the numbers are on Dimraeth system requirements. Price and the planned increases are on Dimraeth price.
Steam Deck and handheld PCs
The pinned FAQ says the game plays on the Deck, with a controller on PC, and on handheld PCs. The store page shows no Steam Deck compatibility rating, which is why the board says works, not rated. Frame rate, the stutter spots and the docked-mode input problem are on Dimraeth on Steam Deck, and button layouts on Dimraeth controls and controller.
Switch 2, PS5 and Xbox
The one developer statement about consoles came in reply to a player asking about a Switch release:
“We definitely want to - part of getting the steam deck working was knowing it would work on the switch 2 since it has similar specs, but the consoles don’t do early access releases and so we’ll have to wait until full release.”
Three things follow from that reply, and nothing more. Switch 2 is the console named, because the Deck work was done with its similar hardware in mind. PS5 and Xbox are not named at all, so the board marks them as nothing said. The reason given (“the consoles don’t do early access releases”) is general, but it is not a plan for any console other than Switch 2. And the timing depends on a full release that has no date yet, as the Dimraeth roadmap shows. Mudtek has not announced a console version.
Mac, Linux and cloud streaming
Mac and Linux
The store lists Windows only. In a launch-day Steam thread two players ask for macOS; no developer has replied to it.
GeForce Now
A launch-day thread asks for GeForce Now support so the game can be played anywhere. Two players backed it, and no developer has replied.
If either matters to you, the forum and Discord are where developers read requests; where each is and who answers there is on the Dimraeth community page.
