Dimraeth platforms

Dimraeth is a Windows PC game on Steam, and it also plays on the Steam Deck. A Switch 2 version is wanted but has to wait for the full release, because consoles do not take Early Access games. There is no PS5, Xbox, Mac or Linux version, and none has been announced.

PC on Steam

Dimraeth is sold on Steam only. It needs Windows 10 at minimum, Windows 10 or 11 recommended, and in practice a better graphics card than the store’s minimum; the numbers are on Dimraeth system requirements. Price and the planned increases are on Dimraeth price.

Steam Deck and handheld PCs

The game plays on the Deck, on PC with a controller, and on handheld PCs. It carries no Steam Deck compatibility badge, which is why the board says works, not rated. Frame rate, stutter spots and the docked-mode input fix are on Dimraeth on Steam Deck, and button layouts on Dimraeth controls and controller.

Switch 2, PS5 and Xbox

“We definitely want to - part of getting the steam deck working was knowing it would work on the switch 2 since it has similar specs, but the consoles don’t do early access releases and so we’ll have to wait until full release.”

Switch 2 is the only console named, because the Deck work was done with its similar hardware in mind. PS5 and Xbox have no plans, and any console version waits on a full release that has no date yet (see the Dimraeth roadmap). What a PS5 or Xbox owner can do today is on Dimraeth on PS5, Xbox and Switch 2.

Mac, Linux and cloud streaming

Only Windows is on the store; a macOS or Linux version has not been announced. Players have asked for macOS.

Wanted, no date

GeForce Now

The developers agree with adding GeForce Now support and are looking to do it; there was not enough time before Early Access. That comes from the forum moderator, with no date or commitment. Watch for Dimraeth to appear in the GeForce Now library.
