Dimraeth Discord, Reddit and community

The official Dimraeth Discord is at discord.gg/dimraeth, the subreddit is r/dimraeth, and the Steam forum carries the pinned Early Access FAQ. The team watches all three, plus X and Steam reviews. For day-to-day contact with the developers, use Discord.

The team reads every Steam review and discussion thread too. For conversation, Discord is the place:

Where to post what

  1. A general question: read the pinned FAQ first

    The pinned Early Access FAQ on the Steam forum answers price, co-op size, the level cap, languages, couch co-op and the roadmap. For getting started, see the Dimraeth beginner guide.

  2. A bug: check known fixes, then Steam or Discord

    Many bugs already have a workaround on Dimraeth bugs and fixes. For something new, post on the Steam forum, where developers reply, or in the Discord #bug-reports forum. For performance problems, share your log files with a developer on Discord.

  3. A build question: the subreddit or Discord

    Both have spaces set aside for build talk. Builds recorded on the Early Access version are collected on Dimraeth builds.

  4. A question you want the studio to answer on record

    Use the Steam forum or r/dimraeth, where replies are public and carry a developer badge or account name. Discord answers are not public, so they are hard to point back to later; see the Dimraeth AI dialogue question for an example.

Telling a developer from a helper

On the Steam forum, Shindaru, Viakaros, Mudtek and CodexMaster carry the developer badge. Wizardmanguy is a moderator who asks for details and passes reports to the team; helpful, but not the studio speaking. On Reddit, the developer accounts are DimraethDev and mudtek.
