Dimraeth demo

There is no Dimraeth demo right now. The free Steam demo, which also ran during Next Fest, was taken down before Early Access because it no longer matched the game, and bringing it back would mean rebuilding it. To try before you commit, use Steam’s refund window.

Why the demo was taken down

“There has been a wide divergence between the features in the demo and what will actually be in Early Access that extends from even options before you load into your world.”

The takedown is for at least the near future, and a re-released demo would need substantial rebuilding. No new demo has been announced. The Early Access release date and unlock times are on the Dimraeth release date page.

If you played the demo, most of what you remember has changed. Early Access holds around four times the demo’s content.

Everything can be done solo; most demo players played alone. Playing with others is covered on Dimraeth co-op and multiplayer.

How to try it without a demo

Buy it and play inside Steam’s refund window, which covers up to 2 hours of play. Before that, watch creator videos recorded on the Early Access build and read the Steam reviews. What reviewers praise and criticise is on Dimraeth reviews.
